James R. B. Parres, BScA., President, CEO & Director James R. B. Parres has been a junior resource company mining executive, mineral exploration geologist and prospector for the past 28 years since 1979. He has served as an officer and director of various Canadian junior mining resource companies engaged in prospecting and mineral exploration. Mr. Parres holds a Bachelor of Science Advanced Degree in Geological Sciences obtained at the University of Saskatchewan, following in the footsteps of his father A. Lew Parres (1988 PDAC Prospector of the Year) and his uncle James Parres, both who were well-known exploration geologists in the Canadian mining industry. Christopher Parres, grandfather to Mr. Parres, was the prospector who discovered the long term gold producer, the New Britannia mine, at Snow Lake, Manitoba. Born in South Porcupine, Ontario and raised in Flin Flon, Manitoba to eventually settle in the Thunder Bay, Ontario area, Jim Parres is well-experienced in the mineral exploration business and is carrying on his family tradition. Allan J. Willy, P.Eng., P.Geo., VP Exploration, Secretary & Director Allan J. Willy is a mineral exploration geologist and geological consultant with 35 years experience, a large part of which has been involved with Precambrian gold deposits. He is a graduate of the geological sciences advanced degree program and the post-graduate diploma program in geological sciences at the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon. Mr. Willy is a qualified person as per National Instrument 43-101 holding the professional designations of P.Eng. in Ontario and Saskatchewan and P.Geo. in Saskatchewan. He has been employed as an exploration geologist for many junior and major resource companies in the search for precious, base metal and uranium mineral deposits across Canada and in the USA. Since 1994, Mr. Willy has served as a director, an advisory board member and VP Exploration for several junior resource companies. David Chan, CGA, Chief Financial Officer Mr. Chan is a Certified General Accountant (CGA) in Canada and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Since obtaining his CGA designation in 1990, Mr. Chan has engaged himself in various management accounting and finance related positions for various public and private corporations. Currently, and since 2006, Mr. Chan is Chief Financial Executive of PointOne Graphics Inc., a mid-sized Ontario based private printing company, overseeing a wide range of activities, including project feasibility study, equipment financing, reporting and forecasting. Mr. Chan also holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Mark Billings, MBA, Independent Director Mark Billings is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Orex Exploration Inc. and has been a director of the Company since October 2007. Mr. Billings also serves as Chief Financial Officer of Argex Silver Capital Inc. He is on the board of directors of a number of companies in Canada and the United States. Prior to joining Orex Exploration, Mr. Billings served as Chief Financial Officer for private and public Internet companies from 2000 to 2006, as well as running his own financial consultancy, Marengo Management Inc. From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Billings was Vice-President of Corporate Finance with Desjardins Securities Inc., where he led a number of public and private financings and took companies public on the Canadian exchanges. Mr. Billings has a Master of Business Administration degree, with a concentration in finance and marketing, from the Harvard Business School, from where he graduated in 1995. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with highest honours, from Carleton University in Ottawa in 1992. In 2002, he was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in Charlottesville, Virginia. Scott Jobin-Bevans, Ph.D., P.Geo., Independent Director Dr. Jobin-Bevans is currently the President of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, the world's largest of such associations. Dr. Jobin-Bevans is a Co-founder and Director of Caracle Creek International Consulting Inc., a professional geological & geophysical consulting company that provides geological and engineering services to the mineral exploration and mining industry. He has more than 20 years in mineral exploration with public company experience as director, officer and technical advisor and has expertise in project evaluation and in leading projects from generative stage to development.
